Latest government figures show a rise in litigants in person in family court cases, leading to calls for the government to heed recent warnings about the family justice system, the Law Gazette reports.

Earlier in the week, the Bach Commission’s report on access to justice, launched at the Labour Party conference, called for cross-party consensus on access to justice and Legal Aid. It recommended bringing legal aid back into scope for all matters concerning children.
